New Bryant Grove Monument Sign

It’s been a long time coming. After literally years of planning and slow decision making, the new Bryant Grove property sign has been installed, and it looks great. We want to thank Oakwood Graphics in Tulsa for their professional sign work and patience.

We also want to thank Scott Laske of Laske Images Photography in Edmond for his professional photo of our new sign. It’s the only photo or graphic in the entire website not done by our website developer, and we appreciate Scott’s help and service.

What kind of sign is it? The style is known as a “monument sign.”

A monument sign is a large permanent free-standing structure. They’re also sometimes described as a permanent professional looking landmark. You’ll see a lot of them around Edmond. They’re popular for good reason.

This is our third sign since the property was purchased in 1993, and in many ways it’s by far the best sign we’ve had. For example, it’s better located near the main driveway that leads to the rent office. The first two signs were in the middle of the property’s frontage and not really close to anything.

It’s a two-sided sign oriented perpendicular to Bryant Avenue so it can be see and read more easily coming and going by passing vehicle drivers and their passengers. The first two signs were oriented parallel to the street. That made them easy to read if you’re walking by, but not so easy to read if you’re driving by…which most people are.

It was just a simple mistake made with the first sign and duplicated with the second. Live and learn.

And there is one more thing that’s better about our new sign. It looks better than anything we’ve had before. It’s more professional looking, that’s for sure. Please visit our pictures page to see the new photo and decide for yourself. It’s the first picture, top left.
